šŸˆ 6 Players To Add/Buy for Week 11

Luther Burden, for real this time

Glossary

TPRR - Targets Per Route Run

WOPR - (Weighted Opportunity Rating) - Calculated by combining a pass-catcher’s air yards share and target share. A metric created by Josh Hermsmeyer.

PFF Grade - (Pro Football Focus Grade) - A play-by-play evaluation metric that quantifies how well the player performed individually on each snap, independent of team results or box score stats.

Rostership % - Percentage of Yahoo leagues player is rostered in.

Recommended FAAB - FAAB range recommendation based on FAABLab, which is an awesome crowd-sourced FAAB estimation tool.

Wide Receivers

Add Luther Burden (6% rostered)

Week 10 PFF Grade: 77.2 (17th/79)

I think Olamide Zaccheaus’ days of blocking Luther Burden on the depth chart are numbered. I’ll get to Burden in a second, but Zaccheaus scored dead last among 101 qualifying wide receivers in Week 10 PFF Grade (35.5!).

He dropped what would’ve been a fantastic rollout touchdown throw from Caleb Williams, and tied for the lead league at the position in drops on the week (2), per PFF. He probably could’ve even been credited with a third drop after watching the tape.

On the season, Zaccheaus has been inefficient, logging 1.15 yards per route run, 74th among 96 qualifying receivers, per PFF. Luther Burden, on the other hands, ranks 3rd in the league with 2.71 YPRR, behind only Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Puka Nacua.

It’s time that Burden, who logged a season-high 46.3% route share in Week 10, is given more opportunities. And Ben Johnson knows it:

Per The Coachspeak Index, Johnson spoke about Burden on Monday: ā€œI think you’ve slowly seen his rep count go up. He’s a guy that’s starting to get more targets. It’s a trust level between the coaches and the player, it’s a trust level between the quarterback and a receiver. It continues to ascend. He’s been very productive when we’ve been able to get the ball in his hands, and there’s a strong argument that we should get it to him more.ā€

Chicago has the 8th-best rest of season fantasy schedule for wide receivers, per RotoViz. While the electric rookie didn’t have a blowup game (3-3-51 statline), the 39th overall pick’s time is coming.

Recommended FAAB: 7-12%

Add Jayden Higgins (14% rostered)

Week 10 PFF Grade: 78.3 (14th/79)

The 34th overall pick of the 2025 NFL Draft had the best game of his young career, earning 7 targets and logging season/career-highs in receptions (5) and receiving yards (42), scoring a touchdown to boot.

Notably, Xavier Hutchinson (51.0%) and Christian Kirk (44.9%) logged season-lows in route share, while Higgins and fellow rookie Jaylin Noel both saw increased route participation, indicating a potential youth movement in Houston.

Per The Coachspeak Index, HC DeMeco Ryans said in his postgame presser that ā€œIt was fun to see Higgins and what he’s capable of doing — just a big target on the outside, going up and making contested catches, doing an outstanding job. He’s done that all year. We just gotta find a way to continue to get him the ball.ā€

There should be plenty of opportunities for Higgins as his role expands - the Texans rank 9th in the league in pass rate over expectation (+3.6%), per FantasyPoints.

Recommended FAAB: 4-6%

Buy Troy Franklin

Week 10 PFF Grade: 56.7 (61st/79)

Troy Franklin is somehow rostered in just 54% of Yahoo leagues, and even if he’s rostered in your league, I’m not sure fantasy managers realize what they have in Franklin.

Over the last 3 weeks, Troy Franklin has fully taken over as Denver’s WR1. In that time, Franklin has bested Courtland Sutton in route share (87.8% to 83.7%), target share (27.7% to 17.0%), and air yards share (47.6% to 26.5%).

Compared to all wide receivers from Weeks 8-10, Franklin ranks 10th in TPRR (0.30), 10th in WOPR (75), and 2nd in air yards (455). His fantasy production has been solid during these last three weeks, logging 16.1 fantasy points per game (WR15), but he and Bo Nix have just barely missed on a handful of deep shots. Based on his usage, Franklin’s expected fantasy points per game from Weeks 8-10 is 17.9 (WR9), per PFF.

Because Franklin was almost certainly a waiver wire addition in your league, your leaguemate may be willing to part ways with Franklin, not recognizing that they’re rostering an alpha wide receiver that could explode down the stretch.

Buy Zay Flowers

Week 10 PFF Grade: 74.8 (23rd/79)

In games played with Lamar Jackson this season, Zay Flowers ranks 25th among receivers in WOPR (58) and 27th in TPRR (0.23). He is the WR19 across those games, averaging 14.0 fantasy points with Jackson at the helm.

Admittedly, the underlying usage hasn’t been stellar - Flowers’ TPRR and WOPR leave a lot to be desired. However, I think the Ravens’ offense is about to pop off for the stretch run.

First, per JJ Zachariason, to this point, Baltimore has had the 3rd-hardest schedule for wide receivers by adjusted fantasy points allowed. Moving forward, the Ravens have the 6th-best schedule for wide receivers.

Additionally, not only are the matchups good for Flowers, they’re good for Baltimore’s offense as a while. FTN’s Aaron Schatz’s DVOA metric measures team efficiency by comparing success on every single play to a league average based on situation and opponent.

Per his DVOA metric, Baltimore’s offense is going from the 3rd-hardest schedule for an offense to this point, to the 4th-easiest offensive schedule for the remainder of the season.

While Baltimore’s offense hasn’t exactly been lighting up the scoreboard even with Lamar back, there’s reason to believe they’re about to. And if your leaguemate has deemed Zay Flowers ā€œmidā€ as a fantasy asset, now is the time to capitalize.

Tight Ends

Add Dalton Schultz (35% rostered)

Week 10 PFF Grade: 69.5 (17th/41)

Look, I was really slow to buy into this Dalton Schultz stuff - but he’s been legit. He’s the TE9 over the last 6 weeks, and is averaging 13.2 fantasy points per game in that span.

He’s deserving of a pickup if available, and is absolutely startable if you’re in need of tight end help. Just be warned that per RotoViz, Houston has the 3rd-worst schedule for fantasy tight ends the rest of the way.

Recommended FAAB: 6-8%

Running Backs

Buy Jaylen Warren

Week 10 PFF Grade: 62.7 (22nd/38)

On the season, Jaylen Warren ranks 5th among running backs in rush attempt share (65.7%) and 18th in target share (10.2%), yet ranks as the RB18 with just 13.7 fantasy points per game, per FantasyPoints.

It’s no secret that Pittsburgh’s offense has been lackluster, and that has resulted in fewer opportunities for Warren as the offense can’t stay on the field.

HC Mike Tomlin echoed that sentiment today, noting ā€œWe win more third downs, we’ll get Jaylen more touches. It’s as simple as thatā€, per The Coachspeak Index.

Warren’s capped production checks out, as the Steelers have played the 7th-hardest schedule for running backs thus far, per JJ Zachariason. However, things are looking up, as Pittsburgh gets the 2nd-best schedule for running backs the rest of the way.

The pitch here is simple - Warren has a strong role but not a ton of fantasy production to show for it. He can likely be acquired at a discount with the hopes that his soft schedule the rest of the way leads to some big weeks.

Thanks for reading, and good luck in Week 11!
