WIDE RECEIVERS

WIDE RECEIVERS
ā Add Luther Burden (16% rostered)
Burden is really just a staple of my waiver wire writeups at this point.
Per Next Gen Stats, Burden has been targeted on 30.6% of his routes run from a wide alignment this season (34 of 111), the 4th-highest among wide receivers to have run at least 100 such routes. He has also been efficient on a per-route basis from this alignment, averaging 3.1 yards per route, the 5th-most among the same group of wide receivers.
In Week 15, before getting injured, Burden recorded season/career-highs in targets (7) and receptions (6), leading the team with 84 receiving yards.
While Burden (ankle) still hasnāt practiced as of today, heād be startable if heās able to go in Week 17. The 49ers-Bears game has the 2nd-highest points total on the week.
WIDE RECEIVERS
ā Add Parker Washington (24% rostered)

Week 16 PFF Grade: 90.3 (2nd out of 82 qualifying wide receivers)
Washington balled out in Week 16 to the tune of 26.5 fantasy points, finishing 3rd at the position.
He led the Jaguars in targets (10), receptions (6), and receiving yards (145), and gets the Colts in Week 17, who have surrendered the 3rd-most fantasy points per game to wide receivers, per FantasyPoints.
WIDE RECEIVERS
ā Add Adonai Mitchell (19% rostered)

Week 16 PFF Grade: 64.2 (49th out of 82 qualifying wide receivers)
Mitchell logged a disappointing 6-3-43 stat line in Week 16, and I really wouldnāt feel comfortable starting him in the fantasy championships. However, for those in desperate need of a startable asset off the waiver wire, Mitchell has led the Jetsā pass-catchers in target share in 5 of the last 6 weeks.
Mitchell gets the Patriots in Week 17, a middle of the pack matchup for WRs, allowing the 15th-fewest points per game to the position, per FantasyPoints.
RUNNING BACKS

RUNNING BACKS
ā Add Dylan Sampson (11% rostered)
With Quinshon Judkins suffering a season-ending leg injury in Week 16, Dylan Sampson would theoretically get a shot as Clevelandās RB1.
However, Sampson (hand) didnāt practice all last week, and his status for this week is up in the air.
Browns HC Kevin Stefanski did note on Monday that Sampson is getting better by the day, but his Week 17 availability is a complete question mark at this point.
RUNNING BACKS
ā Add Raheim Sanders (0% rostered)

Week 16 PFF Grade: 62.9 (44th out of 62 qualifying running backs)
If Sampson were unable to go, Raheim Sanders would assume lead back duties for the Browns in Week 17. Cleveland takes on Pittsburgh, whose defense has allowed the 11th-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing running backs this season, per FantasyPoints.
RUNNING BACKS
ā Add Chris Rodriguez (29% rostered)

.Week 16 PFF Grade: 76.4 (12th out of 62 qualifying running backs)
Rodriguez logged a season-high 56.9% snap share in Week 16, and while heās not a pass-catcher, will handle the bulk of Washingtonās carries against the Cowboys in Week 17. Dallas has allowed the 7th-most fantasy points per game to opposing running backs this season, per FantasyPoints.
RUNNING BACKS
ā Add Tyjae Spears (26% rostered)

Week 16 PFF Grade: 68.7 (26th out of 62 qualifying running backs)
Spears logged a season-high 17.9% target share in Week 16, and while I would not want to start him in the fantasy championships, heās seeing enough receiving work to have some standalone value if youāre desperate for a running back.
The Titans get the Saints in Week 17, who have allowed the 16th-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing running backs, per FantasyPoints.
TIGHT ENDS

TIGHT ENDS
ā Add Taysom Hill (2% rostered)

Week 16 PFF Grade: 73.3 (17th out of 69 qualifying tight ends)
Per Next Gen Stats, in Week 16, Taysom Hill became the first player in the Super Bowl era (4th in NFL history) to reach 1,000+ passing yards, 1,000+ rushing yards and 1,000+ receiving yards in a career.
Heās a true fantasy football enigma, but with New Orleans lacking playmakers in their backfield and needing receiving depth, heāll likely continue his involvement in Week 17.
TIGHT ENDS
ā Add Chig Okonkwo (16% rostered)

Week 16 PFF Grade: 75.3 (12th out of 69 qualifying tight ends)
Okonkwo logged a season-high 28.6% target share in Week 16, leading Tennesseeās pass-catchers for the 2nd straight week, per FantasyPoints.
His 16.4 fantasy points were a season-high, and he scored his first receiving touchdown of the year. Okonkwo will get the Saints in Week 17, who have allowed the 11th-fewest fantasy points to opposing tight ends.
TIGHT ENDS
ā Add AJ Barner (12% rostered)

Week 16 PFF Grade: 65.1 (26th out of 69 qualifying tight ends)
With Elijah Arroyo on Injured Reserve, Barner logged his highest snap share of the season (93.7%), finishing 2nd on the team in target share (14.7%) in Week 16, per FantasyPoints.
In Week 17, the Seahawks get the Panthers, who have been middle of the pack against tight ends, allowing the 16th-most fantasy points per game to the position.
TIGHT ENDS
ā Add Jake Tonges (1% rostered)
Week 16 PFF Grade: 74.6 (t-14th out of 69 qualifying tight ends)
George Kittle is battling a low-to-mid grade ankle sprain, and is at risk of missing Week 17.
If heās unable to go, Tonges, who averaged 14.6 fantasy points per game from Weeks 4-6, would once again fill in.
The 49ers get the Bears in what is projected to be the 2nd-highest scoring game in Week 17.
Thanks for reading, and good luck this week!
